Room Acoustics

Room Acoustics encompasses the behavior of sound in a room. Within a space, sound can be reflected, absorbed, and/or transmitted: reflected off of room surfaces, absorbed into room surfaces, and transmitted through room boundary elements. Naturally rooms for speech, music, and multipurpose rooms have sound issues that need to be addressed. Other spaces/building types that are also affected include multi-family developments, medical facilities, academic institutions , and mechanical spaces. Room Acoustics design addresses those issues through room shaping, proper material selection, and construction. The Acoustics Studio utilizes CAD and traditional methods to analyze each problem and to deliver the most suitable solution for our clients.
